本 课 教 学 内 容 选自人教版材八年级上册Unit 10 If you go to a party, you will have a good time第 三 课 时 语法Grammar focus 3a-3c。 本节课以听说形式创设去晚会的情境进行导入,接下来进行新课学习,首先让学生找出3a—3c中的新词,然后根据上下文或者图片猜测新词意思,然后检查是否正确。接着在PPT上放出一些典型例句,先男女分组阅读,然后分组,五人一组讨论如何对前面学过的“i think i will……”句进行回答“if i…i will…”句型,讨论完叫几个学生进行回答,最后由老师进行总结。接下来是练习,快速浏览3a,回答下面几个问题。让学生列出Tina的忧虑并造句如果……将……。完成3b,并模仿3a造句。最后,创设一些情境让学生两两组队进行对话,如果……我将……,再进行小组采访,总结。完成之后,进行总结并布置家庭作业。 |

Presatation |
l Ask students to glance over 3a-3c, to find new words and get their meanings. l Show a picture to present the key vocabulary (like: upset, taxi) and check what they get. l Discuss the sentences in the table. Firstly reading them in roles, ask boys to read the left line, girls read the right line loudly with together. l Discuss in group. Five in a group, find the rules and functions in the table. l Ask some of the students to share results. l After that, had a conclusion: “In an adverbial clause of if condition, the main clause is usually used the simple future tense, subordinate clause is used the simple present tense for the future. For example: We will go to the park if it doesn’t rain tomorrow.” |
To make sure the students understand the expressions of using “If…will…”. To guide the students to sum up the rules of if adverbial clause. To help students get the preliminary independent, cooperative, exploratory and experiment abilities. To help students better grasp the knowledge points, deepen the memory. |
Practice |
l Activity 1 is to read the letter in 3a quickly, get the main idea of the letter, and think several questions. A) What’s the main idea of the letter? B) Who wrote this letter? C) Why does the person write the letter? D) What does some worries the writer has? Then ask some of the Ss to answer. Let Ss try to fill in the blank in the letter by oneself in 2 minutes. Then I will play the recording for them to listen, check the answers. l Activity 2 is role experience “I am a spiritual guide.” Let Ss induct Tina’s worries, and predict if she does, what she will meet results. l Finish 3b and making sentences like 3a. Divide the class into two groups and get them try to make sentences by using the words or phrases given with “if…will…” on ppt and ask some students to answer it. |
To help Ss predict the content of the letter from pieces of information, find a complete context. It’s more effective than seeing a sentence filling a blank. This activity could let Ss experience worries of the daily life, have the courage to face and solve them. To cultivate students' imagination and creativity, deepen the impression of an adverbial clause of condition “If…will…”, and prepare for writing. |
