整体设计思路

本 课 教 学 内 容 选自人教版教材Unit 6 I am watching TV.第三课时阅 读 文 本 How to be a healthy child.

本单元的第一、二课时以听说形式创设健康度假营的情境。第课时中,首先学生听说并观察动词短语的ing形式 归纳文本动词变化与不规则变化的语法点,理解配图的作用,了解动词短语搭配的形式。教师引导学生从现在进行时态    运用    使 特殊疑问句和一般疑问句进行问答交流。最后小组活动,学生们选择自主问答进行日常交流,并且配图和说明文字,将现在进行时的问答呈现出来。

教学目标

By the end of the lesson, students are expected to

Find out the sentence structure of present continuous tense.

Master the general question pattern and the special question pattern.

Learn to make sentences of present continuous and ask questions.

教学重难点

Teaching focus

Guiding students to use “What are you doing?” to ask partner and learn how to answer with each other.

Teaching difficulty

Students might find it difficult to remember the irregular forms of verbs and how to change the subject to make sentences.

Pre-listening

Guess the forms and tense of verb phrase: present continuous tense

To lead students to catch the sentence structure

 

While-listening

Extensive listening: listen to the information of verbs and get the purpose of the chart

Intensive listening:

1.listen to the information sheet and find the verb phrases.

2. listen to the text for the third time and think about how to answer questions.

To help students understand the purpose of the chart.

To guide the students to sum up the main idea.

To help students understand the function of verbs phrases of present form.

Post- listening

Discussion (Pair work): make up a dialogue on ask and answer about present continuous tense.

Presentation (Group work): Show the talk between two persons and then try to conclude the verb forms of present continuous tense.

To help students practice the sentence pattern.

To prepare students for the group work task.

To help students use the target language and the structure of an information sheet to talk in present continuous tense.

Assignments

1.Copy and recite the grammar focus.

2.Think of the differences of following questions:

eg. She's exercising (now).

  She exercises (on Monday/every night/in the mornings/etc.)
