整体设计思路

本单元主要围绕“购物”这一主题展开,学习表示衣物的名词、表示颜色的形容词和表示大小的形容词,同时复习了基数词以及指示代词 thisthatthesethose。核心句型为How much 引导的询问价格的特殊疑问句,要求学生能够运用所学句型询问价格,谈论衣物,提供帮助和感谢他人。

 

 

教学目标

By the end of the lesson, students are expected to

Learn the new words and expressions :sock, T-shirt, sweater, shoes, skirt, trousers ;

Learn how to ask about the prices.

-How much is ……? -Its ……dollars.

-How much are……? -They are ……dollars.

Learn how to shop

Learn to talk about the color and price of goods politely and communicate with others.

Show the picture of a clothes shop with different kinds of clothes in it on the screen.

Match the words with the things in the picture.

Present how to ask and answer about the price.

Make the teaching lead into the learning topic quickly, and summarize the sentence pattern by practicing the new sentence pattern repeatedly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Role play

1b.Listen and circle the things ,then check answers.

2b.Listen and circle the clothes. First talk about in pairs ,then check answers.

2c.Listen and fill in the price tags.

Talk about in the group .Then check answers .Ask students read the dialogue in pairs and act them out in front of the class.

By playing the recording ,the students listening ability is improved and their knowledge is consolidated. Role play dialogue ,practice oral English ,deepen the understanding of the target sentence pattern.
