整体设计思路

本单元是《新目标英语》系列教材之一Go for it 第一单元的内容。本单元教学主要采用任务型语言教学(Task-Based Language Teaching)模式,完成任务的同时完成语言学习。本单元主要学习如何进行自我介绍及介绍他人,包括介绍姓名(姓与名)、电话号码。同时,学习询问他人的简单情况,学会用简单英语问候他人。共分三课时完成。第一课时是基本语言内容的收集和学习;第二和三课时是知识的扩展和综合的语言运用。

 

 

教学目标

By the end of the lesson, students are expected to

1. Get students to learn how to greet people, introduce themselves and make new friends.

2. Teach students to say English names in the right way. talk about a week's curriculum

3. Get students to ask for and give telephone numbers. understand the topic of the passage and learn more about describing own schedule.

Warming up

1.Greet the class with a smile and say Good morning 

How are you ? 

What’s this in English?(show the picture) What color is it? 

2.Revise the letters they have learned.

 

To elicit the topic and arouse students’ interest to the teaching activities.

 

A game “How many words do you know?”

T: “How many words do you know?” Let’s play a game to see who knows the most. The group who write the most words are the winners. (complete the activity 1a)

Let students learn in the game, stimulate their interest.

While-task

1. Play the tape, students listen and repeat.

2. Open the books and turn to page 1, get the students to read the dialogues. Then pair work: Students ask and answer in pairs.

3. Get the students to try to act out the dialogue s for the class without the books

4. Show some pictures and ask students: What’s her/his name?

5. Practice the dialogue with your partner.

.Exercise students' comprehensive ability and let them master the contents of this class.

 

Post-task
