整体设计思路

This reading article is about trip, an exciting topic in which the Ss from Grade 8 are interested. They have learned English for several years and still have a strong desire to learn better. At the beginning of this class, T will arouse Ss’ interest by giving them some beautiful pictures about places of interest. Then with several reading tasks, T will guide Ss to explore the reasons why people are interested in going on trip. This is to help them to understand the meaning of the journey. By the end of this class, Ss will be able to describe one of his most memorable trips and what he learned from it, both materially and spiritually.

教学反思

Ss are interested in travel topics, but they are weak in describing their experiences and not familiar with the chronological order. They are familiar with the places of interest in china, but they know little about the foreign places of interest and culture.
