学情分析

 

八年级学生已经学过一般将来时态和一般现在时态,已了解了这两种时态的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句等形式。首次接触if引导的条件状语从句,在接受上会有一些难度,这就要求教师在引入的时候要多从学生的角度思考。在口语运用中判断if条件句的主句、从句也许会存在一定的困难。在运用一般将来时和一般现在时态也许会产生混淆。

 

教材分析

人教版英语八年级Unit10 If you go to the party,you’ll have a great time!的第一课时。本单元以Decision making为话题,从学生熟悉的party出发到对于未来职业选择的探讨,鼓励学生做出自己的决定,并对这一决定所带来的结果进行讨论。通过“Talk about consequences” 来学习if 引导的条件状语从句,掌握用be going to 来表示将来的时态,正确使用情态动词should。
    Section A部分以一副在实际生活中的图画为开篇。该图引出了学生在练习新语言时需要用到的重点词汇,新的表达方式呈现在人物头上的气泡中,从而使学生很容易理解和练习新语言。用“If you do, you will… You should…” 句型及对话来谈论学生熟悉的party,接下来是几个循序渐进的练习活动,学生独立,结对或组成小组完成多种练习。使学生在完成任务的同时学习语言,并培养学生树立正确的人生观。在Section A中,涉及到了三个话题:话题一:以不同的方式去参加聚会会出现的各种结果。话题二:在各种可能的时间举行一次班级聚会会出现的各种结果。话题三:在参加End of Year Party时如果不遵守聚会规则会出现的各种结果。本课时是一般将来时态的延续,为正确运用这个时态提供场景,也为条件状语复合句的学习奠定基础,具有承前启后的作用;就整个单元来说它既是本单元的基本语言内容,又为本单元的知识扩展和语言综合运用奠定基础。

2) 能了解以下语法:

   掌握含if条件状语从句的主从复合句的用法。

3) 能用if 引导的条件状语从句作出假设,用will谈论结果。

1. 能够准确的练习在日常生活中运用if引导的条件状语从句(可将其运用到和别人的对话和谈话中)

2. 提高学生的听力水平,口语水平和灵活运用新句型新知识的水平

教学方法

任务型教学法、多媒体教学(课前准备:制作多媒体课件,准备录音机)

时间安排

一课时:5分钟导入,25分钟新授,10分钟练习,3分钟总结,2分钟布置作业。

教学步骤

Step 1  Warming up and Leading in

Greeting: T: Class begins, good morning class

          S: Good morning, teacher.

          T: Sit down please.

T:Before class, let us enjoy an English song

(1.Enjoy an English song: if you are happy 2.Ask some questions.)Are you happy today? Yes, me too. Every day when I come into the classroom, I am always very happy. If I am happy, I will smile, sometimes,  Ill eat something or talk with my friends. Ok, today is Sunday ! What will you do this Sunday ?

S: I will.......

T:This Sunday is the birthday of my friend. I will go to the party this Sunday .And I will have a good time this Sunday . So, look at the ppt, what if we make these two sentences a mixture? It will become if you go to the party, youll have a good time. Today we are going to learn Unit10 if you go to the party, youll have a good time.

Step 2 Presentation

T:What will happen tomorrow? It will be sunny tomorrow. We will have a trip tomorrow . What if make a mixture?  It would become If it is sunny tomorrow, we will have a trip. And what are you going to do this weekend?(ask some students to answer this question, and then ask the question if you are free, what will you do this weekend?  Guide students to say if I am free, I will ....

Then ask a question to make a review.

T:If it is sunny this weekend, what will you do? Guide students to answer the question differently.

T: Then lets do corporation research.

Show some pictures in the ppt, ask students if you are happy, what will you do? Make them to answer the question using the picture information. And then check it together.

Play a game and fill the blanks to memory the sentence pattern.

T: OK, let us play a guessing game. What will happen if I touch it? Use different face look to finish the sentence. Who want to have a try? And point some students to guess it. OK, let us fill the blanks to practice. What will you do if you go to the party? Any volunteers? Then ask some students to answer it. Is there any different answers? Encourage them to think more.

⑤Then listen a tape to gain memory to the sentence pattern and practice listening.1a Look at the pictures. Then ask students to match the statements and responses.

T: Karen and Ann also want to go to the party with me. If we go the party, what will happen? Please look at the picture and match the statements with responses below.
      S: ….

T: Are they right? Please listen and check your answers.

T: OK, let us look at the script. When I put a sentence, I pause and you repeat it.

⑥point out the grammar.

T: Then let us go to the grammar point. Whats the structure of the sentence? The structure is If..., Ill...”If意为如果 ,表示条件,if引导的句子是称之为从句,如果从句用一般现在时,则主句用一般将来时时态也就是所谓的“主将从现”。Lets have an example.....

I have made it a song, you can memory the grammar by sing it.条件句,放在前,逗号要放句中间;条件句表可能,从句多用现在时,主句多用将来时.

Step 3 Practice

T: lets have a practice. Filling the blanks. Ask students to answer the question by turns. And then check the answers.

T: OK, We will make sentences with words. Who makes it more quickly, we will give him a applause. Are you ready? Begin.

T:Tomorrow is Jenny’s birthday, she wants to organize(组织) a birthday party. And what would you do if you were invited?

Step 4 Summary

T: What have you learned in this lesson ? Who can sum up ?

Write five sentences with if structure.

教学反思

 

本课对教材和学情做了深入的分析,设计上思路非常清晰,由浅入深,教学任务设计贴近学生生活,有趣又实用,且难易程度环环相扣,层层递进,教师带来学生一步一个脚印,渐渐近入任务,让学生非常自然的领会本课的知识点。
If引导的条件状语从句,是本节课的重难点,通过对话、听力、讲解、仿照句型编对话等多种练习方式,使学生能够通过观察和对比总结出If条件句中,主句用一般将来时态,从句用一般现在时态。
改进之处,课堂上应该关注更多的学生,让不同层次的学生都能获得进步。
