Step1:Topic review
1. Show some pictures with different subjects on the screen.
T: Hello! Everyone! This class , let’s go on talking about subject preferences.
How many subjects do you know?
Ss: Nine / Ten /Eleven.
T: That’s great! What’s your favorite subject, Sun huaya ?
Sun huaya: Music.
T:Why do you like music?
Sun huaya: Because I think it’s relaxing .
T:Who is your music teacher?
Sun huaya: Ms Wang.
T:When is your music class?
Sun huaya:It’s on Monday and Friday.
Lead Ss to make the similar conversations in groups .The teacher walks around in class and then write these questions on Bb.
【设计意图】以小组为单位合作学习,使小组的每一位学生都能开口表达。以至于每一位学生都参加到学习当中,让学生体会到“我学习,我快乐”,有助于学生的合作交流,相互交流是思维火花的碰撞。
Step 2 Warming up and lead-in (展示我的最爱)
And then at the very beginning of the class, Get each student to fill in the following chart.

Step 2 Presentation:
And then ask Ss to write the following questions in their exercise books
(1) What’s your favorite subject?

(3) Who is your music teacher?
(4) When is your music class?
Give Ss three minutes to talk about them in groups. The teacher walks among the students .If some students need help , the teacher helps them as soon as possible.
【设计意图】学生讨论并把这些问句翻译成汉语,加深学生对这些句子的理解,正确的理解是学会归纳的前提。
Step 3 Grammar focus
Get Ss to read the sentences in Grammar focus carefully and aloud .Ask them to find out their instructure:疑问词+谓语+宾语/表语/状语+?.
疑问词+一般疑问句语序?
The teacher explains:These sentences are Special Questions.
学一学:特殊疑问句:是对句中某一部分内容提出疑问的问句。特殊疑问句不能用yes或no来回答。
1、 结构:两种结构
(1)倒装结构:疑问词+一般疑问句语序?例如Why do you like music?
(2) 陈述语序:疑问词+谓语+宾语/表语/状语+?.例如Who is your music teacher?
让学生在Grammar focus 找出哪些是倒装句。哪些是陈述语序。
Get Ss to talk about the sentences and find the difference. And then check the answers: (4),(5)是倒装句,(1),(2),(3),(6),(7)是陈述语序。
2.疑问词小结:
(1)什么都要问what
疑问代词what含义是“什么”,通常用来询问姓名、物品、号码、数学运算结果或什么时间做什么事等。
例: what’s his name?
What’s your phone number?
What do you like for dinner?
What’s two and three?
What 可与其他名词构成疑问词组。
例如: what color(什么颜色),what fruit (什么水果) ,what sport (什么运动)等等。
(2)谁见谁爱的who
Who 是疑问代词,它的意思是“谁”用来询问人的。在句中可做主语、宾语和表语。
例: Who is your music teacher?
Who do you play with?
(3) 一探究竟的why
Why是疑问副词,意思是“为什么”。用来询问原因。回答使用连词because.
例: Why do you like music?
Because it’s relaxing.
(4) 分秒必争的when
When 是疑问副词,它的意思是“何时,什么时候”。用来询问时间。
例:When is your music class?
练一练:用what, who, why ,when完成句子:
(1)-- do you want?
-----I want a book.
(2)-- does she like history?
---=Because it’s easy for her.
(3)--- your favorite teacher?
---Mr Hu.
(4)--- do you have a party?,
------ Next Sunday.
【设计意图】本环节是这堂课的重点。学生先阅读示范的例句,去分析归纳特殊疑问句的结构,并具体了解了特殊疑问句的用法以及what, why, who and when的用法,让学生系统得了解了特殊疑问句。通过练一练,让学生了解得更透彻。
Step 4 Pairwork
Get Ss to fill in the blanks with what, who or why in 3a, according to Grammar focus. And then check the answers with each other.
Give Ss two minutes to read them aloud and after that get them to show the answers in pairs. Give them some encouragement if some of them behave very well.
Get Ss to finish 3b in the same way.
【设计意图】让学生完成课本中的3a和3c,进一步巩固了特殊疑问句的用法。
Step5 Report
Ask a member of each group to make a report in front of the class according to the- formation in Step 2.
Sample:
Hello, my name is ______. I am ______ years old. My favorite subject is________. I think it’s interesting. Mr. Hu is my __ . He is great fun. is on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. is XXX’s favorite subject. She thinks it’s relaxing. She thinks Miss Man is a good teacher.
【设计意图】 本环节是为了让学生通过学习运用知识的过程,展示标准,模仿运用。让程度差的学生有所依托。更有利于学生运用知识进行表达,交流。
Step6 Summary:
In this class, we've learnt what questions; why questions; who questions; when questions and how to use them to express our ideas.
