Step1:Topic review
Task 1 Look and say :Talk about one’s favorite subject/ color/ Sport/ day…?
Show the following pictures and ask students to talk them freely by using the sentences in the picture.

【设计意图】通过图片展示和设置问题进行导入, 吸引学生的注意力,同时也复习已学单词和句型。通过自由谈论自己最喜欢的科目及理由,复习favorite的用法,充分调动学生的积极性, 激发学生的学习热情。有利于学生写作时能够灵活运用。
Step 2 Warming up and leading in
Task 1. Play a game
At the beginning of the class, Ss play a game about numbers and subjects .
T: I have got 9 subjects. Tell me what’s your favorite subject? There are 9 numbers ,and one subject in each number. If you choose a number about your favorite subject. you can get a big happy face.
T: What’s your favorite subject ? S: My favorite subject is P.E/….
T: Do you like P.E.? S: Yes.
T: Why? S: Because it’s very interesting.
T: Who is your P.E. teacher? S: Mr. Ye.
T: when is the P.E. class? S: It’s on Monday and Fri day
T: Look at this picture. What number is it? S: It’s 9.
T: Yes, and the subject is P.E. you can get a big happy face.
Task 2 A brainstorm : What classes do we have at school?
T: In this game, there are many subjects words .Let’s have a brainstorm. Please list as many subjects words as we have learned. First list them by yourself and count them with your fingers. Then report them to your partner and who is the winner.
2. After the Ss finish discussing, lead the Ss to learn to use the adjectives
by asking the Ss what they think of these subjects.
T: Boys and girls, we have learned many description words. Let’s have a brainstorm again. Please say as many description words as you can. (easy , boring, interesting. difficult . fun . busy . free . cool. relaxing . useful…)
T: Let’s come to Self-check.

【设计意图】用“抽数字拿大奖”的游戏复习学校科目来引入新课,有利于活跃课堂气氛,把学生带入课程的场景当中。同时通过学习形容词提前处理了Self-Check部分。
Task 3.Design your own curriculum schedule and discuss with your classmates why you like or don't like it.

【设计意图】通过设计课程表及小组讨论对学科的喜好及其理由,既复习了Section A部分的语法内容,又为后面的写作练习做个铺垫。
Task 4 Speaking:
Show the Ss a passage with some blanks. It is about your own curriculum schedule you like or don't like it .Ask the Ss to try to fill in the blanks. Invite several Ss to take turns reporting:
My favorite subject is ________. Because it’s ________.I have a music class on ________. I don’t like ________. Because I think it’s ________. But my friend Lucy likes it. She thinks it’s ________. (Answers: music, relaxing, Tuesday, geography, boring., interesting)

写作要求:
写作思路分三步:
第一步:确定写信的对象及谈论的话题:Your favorite day
第二步:运用品质形容词来谈论喜欢的理由; I like…because it’s ____and ____.[来源:学科网ZXXK]
第三步:描述自己最喜欢的事物及平时的一些做法。
文章的结构分三层:
第一层:称呼和起篇(开头句);[来源:Z_xx_k.Com]
Dear…, / Hi,…,( 称呼之后是逗号,不用冒号,这与汉语不同)
第二层:正文谈论自己最喜欢的事物,同时运用品质形容词来描述(不)喜欢的原因;
正文:由一段或若干段组成.正文部分是写作重点。表达对事物的喜好句型有三种,最好交替使用,可使文章结构看起来更丰富。
1)My favorite subject is science.
2)I like science best .
3)Science is my favorite subject.
参考词汇:
1)表示 并列、转折 或原因的词: and, but because …
2) 表示喜好的词汇: like ,love, favorite …
3) 表示品质的形容词 easy , boring, interesting. difficult . fun . busy . free . cool. relaxing . useful…
第三层:收篇(结尾句)和落款 Your friend,并用逗号玉名字隔开,或另起一行
【设计意图】理清思路,利于写作。创设情景,综合应用所学。既巩固了所学,又提高了综合运用英语的能力,达到学以致用。同时也为下节课的学习做下铺垫。
Step3 :Give Ss five minutes to write the essay and then have them repair it.
Example:
Dear John,
I am very busy on Friday. At8:00.I have math. It is not fun. The teacher says it is interesting., but I think it is difficult. Then at 9:00 I have Chinese It is difficult but useful. At 10:00 I have art I like art because it’s cool. I have English from 11:00 to 11:45 . English is my favorite subject, because it’s interesting and easy. Ms Sun is our English teacher ,She is great fun, We all like her .So we often ask her some questions about English after class. It is really useful. I have English on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
I have history at 2:00P.M..At 3:00 P.M. I have geography. Geography. is not fun and difficult, So I don’t like it. But I think I will study it hard . My classes finish at 4;50.

【设计意图】此环节本课的重中之重,学生在正确的引导之下动笔自主练习。教师指导学生理解:作者开篇第一句直接点出在周五非常忙,为以下如何忙的细节做好铺垫。运用and, but because等连词分层介绍自己最喜欢的课程及理由,而且介绍了自己的一些做法,收篇介绍自己的今后想法及询问对方最喜欢的课程。学生进行交流,再提高。
Post-writing :
Step1:Showing the results
Invite three or four students to read their essays to everyone. The teacher and the other students give some suggestions and encouragement.
And then have a student make an interview about the writing. He may ask questions like the following:
1.What’s Tom’s favorite subject?
2.Why does he like English?
3.Who is his English teacher ?
4.What does he think of her?
5.When is his English class?
6.Does he like math? Why
Step2:Report the writing in front of the class. Encourage more students to interview others.

亮点:
书面表达是英语技能教学的重要组成部分。 在本节课一开始,我利用一些图片,吸引学生们的兴趣,为投入本课的写作创造积极的心理状态,通过思考如何写自己的一天,此环节为本节课的输出。通过师生讨论引导学生动笔练习,让他们快乐的表达,快乐的展示自己。同时鼓励孩子进行交流,纠错,提高。当堂交流使孩子们更努力,并树立了信心。并运用鼓励性的语言让他们体会成功的快乐。
不足之处:
运用and, but because等连词分层介绍自己最喜欢的课程及理由,而且介绍了自己的一些做法,收篇介绍自己的今后想法。学生感觉难,部分学生不能很好的展示与训练。
