2.掌握本课中西生日食品差异

1.灵活运用所学知识讨论中西方生日食物的差异

2.可数名词与不可数名词的概念。

教学方法

情景教学法;任务型教学法。

二、【教学流程

一、翻译下列短语:

 1. around the world   2.the number of   3.make a wish

 4. blow out   5. the child with the candy   6. get popular

 7. cut up   8. a symbol of long life   9. come true

 10. bring good luck to sb.

二、检查生词预习:

1) 让个别学生朗读生词,教师及时正音,然后领读、齐读。

2) 听写生词。四人一组听写,其余的学生以学习小组为单位听写,然后互批互改,小组长汇报检查情况。对优者提出表扬,表现差者要帮助学生识记生词。

三、复习导入,自由交谈。

Ask the students to talk about 2a in pairs.

1. What do you do on your birthday?

2. What do you eat on your birthday?

3. How do you spend your birthday?

4.  Do you know why you eat those special foods on your birthday?

一、听两遍录音了解文章的梗概

1) Help the students find the key words of the passage.

     2) Then talk about the main ideas with the students.

二、自学发现问题

1) Ask the students to learn by themselves.

  2) Tell the students to find the questions and mark.

  3) Ask Ss to talk about the items with their partner or their friends.

三、设计问题检查:

     主要是判断正误类型的题目。

     1) There are three countries in the passage.

     2) Different people from different countries eat the same food on their birthday.

     3) People put a candy in a birthday cake in China.

     4) Many people eat very long noodles for their birthday in UK.

     5) Chinese people eat eggs for a symbol of life and good luck.

     6) Before blowing out the candles, the birthday person must sing a song.

四、点拨学生共性的问题

1. 提醒学生注意归纳总结make的用法

2. 要求学生区分 a number of the number of 的用法

3. 点拨 with 的用法

4. 提醒学生分析like 的用法

五、听录音, 然后要求学生大声朗读短文。体验本单元要点。

一、make a wish

1. make +宾语+名词(作宾语补足语)

 We make the boy our monitor.

2. make +宾语+不带to的不定式(作宾语语补足语)

 Nobody makes us fell relaxed

 但改成被动语态时, 则要加to

 We are made to fell relaxed.

3. make +宾语+过去分词(作宾语补足语)

 I made my bike repaired.

4. make +形式宾语it +形容词或名词(做宾语补足语) +to的不定式作真正的宾语

  This makes it possible for me to learn Chinese well

比如:  Shirley looks like her mother.   He is like his father.

三、the child with the candy; birthday cakes with candles

 1. ...一起,偕同,...She lives with her son.

2. 带着...;...The girl with long hair is my classmate.

3.(手段、材料),(工具)

My American friend is learning to eat with chopsticks.

 4. 符合,一致

5. ...一边,赞成 We are with you there.

四、a number of the number of

    a number of意思是“一些,若干”(= some),后接可数名词复数或代词,谓语动词用复数形式。 a number of…词组中还可以加入形容词表示数量大或小等(例如:a large/small number of…许多/少数……)。the number of…意思是“……的数字/数目”,介词of同其后名词构成介词短语,修饰the number.当它作主语时,谓语动词用单数。

例如:

1A number of my friends think I should take a holiday.

我的一些朋友认为我应该休假。

2The number of students is about twenty.

学生人数大约是20人左右。
