I. Material analysis
本课是第六单元话题三的第四个课时。主要活动是Grammar, Functions 和1。通过听力活动、口头笔头活动、吟唱歌曲、综合探究等课堂活动,引导学生复习并操练本话题学过的关于建筑物地理位置的介词、介词短语、有关简单交通规则的英文祈使句表达、问路及指路的表达、交通灯的英文表达等,培养学生的交通安全意识,同时学会在实践中运用英语,达到学以致用的目的。本课为本话题的复习课,包括与本话题有关的词汇、语法、语用功能句型等内容,教师引导学生复习时应增强趣味性,注意相关知识的综合理解和运用,而不是知识点的机械重复与操练。

Then every group try to say them out as quickly as you can and make sentences with the words. The group which can answer the most correct answers will be the winner. e.g. (1)(Show a picture of “Playing on the street”.) Ss:Don’t play on the street. (2)(Show a picture of “right turn”.) Ss:Turn right here. ... After that, have another group competition. The teacher shows some pictures about places. 1. Do Task 1. Look at the two maps in A. Try to describe the routes from Zhichun Road to the apartment. Then listen to the tape and check the correct map. Check your answers with your partner. Listen again and complete the conversation in B individually. After that, check your answers with your partner. A pair read the conversation to the whole class to check the answers. After checking the answers, practice the conversation in pairs. Some pairs act out the conversation. 2. Do Task 2. Draw a map to show the way from your home to your school. Then write a passage about how to get to your school. After that, share your map and passage with your partner. Check the passage with each other. Some students read your passage to the whole class. e.g. This is my home. When I go to school, first, I need to go along Guangqian Road. Turn right at the second crossing. Go down Xuncun Road until to the end. The school is on my left. What about your way to school? ... 3.Do Task 3. Talk about the rules of traffic lights, red-stop, green-go, yellow-wait. Then read the lyrics in Task 3. Listen to the song and learn to sing this song. The whole class sing this song together. After that, some students sing the song to the whole class. |
