1. Look at the pictures on PPT. Answer the following questions   and learn some new words in this section：ticket, speed, wrong, place, safe,   hurt, lose, rule, cross, sign, before, careful, accident, obey.

T: What does this   picture mean?

Ss:It means “No Parking”.

T: Yes, you are right.   If we park here, what will we get?

T: We will get a ticket   for parking in the wrong place. How about this picture?

2. Do 1a & 1b. Look at the title of the passage and the picture in 1a. Guess what the passage is about. Then read 1a for the first time and check your guess.

在本课中，学生在阅读活动以及看图完成任务的活动中，学会了一些交通标志，明白了一些交通规则，也谈论了在交通方面如何保证安全。安全是一个永恒的话题，因此，教师在教授学生用英语表达交通标志以及身边的一些交通规则的同时，还应引导学生学会遵守交通规则，共同维护交通秩序，同时要珍惜生命。
