整体设计思路
谈论天气与我们的日常生活有关,加以图画、视频相配合,学习起来会比较直观、易接受。所以在掌握天气相关的形容词,动词显得更为重要。首先,教师应该通过视频使学生初步了解所学词汇及相关表达,然后分析新学单词;引入关于天气的询问及回答方式;最后帮助同学们使用所学知识进行交际练习,达到学以致用。
教学目标

(3) Students will learn more about present continue tense.

1.课前,出示课件上课铃声响起。Organize the students by greeting each other. .
2.Ask the students who is on duty? (谈论一些事情,简单用英语说几句)
3. 做画画,写字等动作: 问:What am I doing? (帮助学生回答) I am writing/ drawing. (叫几个学生做其他动作)练习What are you doing? What is he/she doing? (学生总结老师板书:be+v-ing)

Pre-speaking
1. The teacher will play a video about weather to help students to learn more words and sentences about weather.
Students have to watch the video with 2 questions.
①How many words about weather are there in the video?
②What are they?
2. The teacher will lead students to practice these words according to the pictures on the blackboard.
3. Recognize these words based on the pictures on the PPT.
Students will learn some relative knowledge and be able to talk with others about weather.
While-speaking
1. Communication
The teacher will use an umbrella which is stuck with some words about weather as a teaching aid , and have a short conversation with some students.
2. Work in pairs.
Students will have 5 minutes to use the knowledge we have learned today to design a short dialogue with partners.
Students will be more confident to communicate in English and their speaking ability will be improved.
Post-speaking
Evaluation
The teacher will ask some students to share their dialogues with the whole class and then guide several students to comment on their dialogues.
Students will be more confident to share their ideas and their critical thinking will be improved.
Assignments
Watch weather forecast and take some notes about the weather of 5 cities and then share it with others next day.
