整体设计思路

This is a listening and speaking class to discuss friends, we talk about this topic a lot in daily life which is familiar to the Ss from Grade 8 who have learned English for several years and still have a strong desire to learn better. At the beginning of this class, T will introduce SpongeBob and Patrick to Ss and designate topics for Ss to discuss. Then listen to the tape for several times and complete the exercises. Finally, T will set up a scene and help Ss to practice speaking in the scene. By the end of this class, Ss will be able to understand the importance of friends and how to get along with them.

 

 

 

 

教学目标

By the end of this class, Ss will be able to:

1. talk about what they think a good friend should be like;

2. explore what Molly and Mary like about their best friends;

3.learn that it is normal for friends to be the same or different and it’s more important to be tolerant and sincere.

 

教学重难点

1. Improve Ss’ ability of intensive listening with the help of prediction of listening content;

2. Guide Ss to talk about true friendship in minds and lead Ss to analyze the significance of friends.

2. Introduce the main idea in their own words.

1. Find out the key words to describe Molly’s and Mary’s best friends.

This helps to cultivate Ss' ability to solve problems in English.
