【主    题】 Part B: Let’s learn more.  Look, group, write and say.  Think and draw.

【课    时】3课时

一、教学目标

1. 能读懂Let’s learn more部分的短文,正确理解并能灵活运用care earth, do bad things to, too many /much等短语。

2. 通过对短文的学习,培养学生的快速阅读能力。

3. 通过对短文的学习,增强学生的环保意识。

、教学准备

1. 教师准备:

1Let’s learn more部分的音频(教师可在优教平台直接下载使用)。

2)课件或小黑板准备下列句子:

There are___ trees, flowers, rivers and___ on the earth.

We cut down___ ___ trees.

We waste___ ___ water and make the air___.

3)一个地球仪和一张世界地图。

4)一些环保口号。

2. 学生准备:

1)一盒彩笔。

2些彩纸。

三、教学方法建议

I. 课程导人(Leading In

i. 课前问答

教师出示所准备的世界地图,和学生进行讨论。

T: Look. This is a map of the world. We live on it. What do the blue parts stand for?

Ss: Blue parts stand for oceans and seas.

T: What do green parts stand for?

Ss: Green parts stands for trees and grass.

T: Well. Our earth is beautiful, isn’t it?

ii. 新课导人

教师展示所准备的地球仪,引导学生观察,从而引出本节课话题:

T: Hello, boys and girls. Look at the earth. We live on the earth. It’s our home. It’s our mother earth. Where do we live, can you point it out?

II. 课程展示活动和过程的设计建议(Presentation

i. 新课展示

1. 教师结合短文内容提出问题,然后播放录音,让学生带着问题听短文,了解短文大意。

Question 1: What bad things do we do to our earth?

Question 2: What should we do?

2. 教师再次播放录音,播放完毕后,随机选出几位学生回答上面的两个问题,检测他们对短文的理解情况。

Answer 1: We cut down too many trees. We waste too much water and make the air dirty.

Answer 2: We should care for our earth. We should do something to make the water and the air clean. We should plant more trees and help the animals.

ii. 阅读理解

1. 让学生读短文的第一、二段,然后用课件或小黑板展示下列句子,让学生根据阅读的内容补全下列句子:

(1) There are trees, flowers, rivers and on the earth.

(2) We cut down trees.

(3) We waste water and make the air .

参考答案:(1) many, mountains   (2) too many    (3) too much, dirty

2. 教师让学生勾画出各自在阅读课文时遇到的不熟悉的词语,先请同学们根据语境猜猜这些词语的意思,之后教师解疑答惑,讲解短语care for, do bad things to.

1care for关心、爱护;如:

Alice has a white rabbit and she cares for it.

2do bad things to……做坏事,损坏……;如:

We are friends. We shouldn’t do bad things to each other.

教师鼓励学生试着用care fordo bad things说话,或教师给出汉语学生说出英语:

1. 爸爸妈妈都很爱护我。

2. 我们要爱护这些小树木。

3. 人们不应该做损害我们地球的事情。

My father and mother care for me very much.

We should care for the small trees.

People shouldn’t do bad things to our earth.

3让学生以组为单位讨论many, too many, muchtoo much的用,最后由教师进行汇总概括。

教学小贴士

many, much, too many, too much 的用法

1. manymuch都表示许多。但many修饰可数名词,much修饰不可数名词。manymuch都可以用a lot of替换,但a lot of般用于肯定句中。如:

There are many people in the park during the holidays.

There is much milk and juice in the fridge.

2. too many, too much表示强调,意为太多。用法与manymuch 基本相同,不同的是too much可作副词短语,用来修饰动词。如:

I eat too much, so I don’t feel good. 修饰动词eat

There is too much bread on the table. 修饰名词bread

I’m very busy today, because I have too many things to do.修饰名词things

iii. 巩固活动

1. 教师播放录音,学生集体跟读课文,教师注意纠正学生的发音问题。

2. 学生通读短文,完成Read again and tick or cross部分的练习。

III. 操练活动的设计与实施建议(Practice Activities

i. Part B Look, group, write and say

1. 教师引导学生认真观察图片,想一想图中的花、草、人、船等物品应该用muchmany哪个词修饰,并进行分类。

参考答案:much: grass, water

many: trees, flowers, boys, girls, boats, ice-creams

2. 教师随机点选学生用There is much…There are many ...造句。如:

There is much water in the lake.

There are many boats on the lake.

ii. Part B Think and draw

1. 教师让学生看着左边的图片,解释设计意图。

2. 教师请学生发挥想象,设计一幅有关环境保护的海报。

教师将学生分成若干组,给每组发一些环保语句,让学生用彩笔将这些语句写在彩纸上,下课后贴在教室的墙上或是校园的宣传栏中。以下环保口号仅供参考:

1. Save water.节约用水。

2. Turn off the lights before you leave.离开前请关灯。

3. Low Carbon Life.低碳生活。

4. Don’t walk on the grass.不要践踏草坪。

5. Don’t waste food.不要浪费粮食。
