Unit6 第2课时教学设计
一、教学目标
1. 听懂、会说句型:What can I do for you? I want to buy ...并能在实际情景中正确运用。
2. 能熟练运用句型:How much is it? It’s ... yuan.并能和同桌合作就单个物品的价格进行问答。
二、教学准备
1. 教师准备:
(1) Let’s learn部分的词汇卡片。
(2) 服装店图片、贴有价签的服装、模拟货币。
(3) Let’s talk部分的音频和录音资料。
(4) 手偶两个。
2. 学生准备:
(1) 模拟货币。
(2) 标有价格的物品。
三、教学方法建议
I. 课程导入(Leading In)
1. 课前热身
教师拿出Let’s learn部分的词汇卡片,复习上一课时所学的词汇:
T: Hello, boys and girls! Look! What’s in the picture? (教师出示一张关于服装店的图片)
Ss: It’s a shop.
T: What’s in the shop?
Ss: Clothes.
T: Yes. Then what are these?
Ss: They are shirts, trousers, socks,...
T: You are right.
2. 新课导入
建议教师借助Part A Warming-up活动导入本节课话题:购买衣物。
1. Point out the money you know
教师出示货币图帮助学生认识货币。
T: Look at these pictures. What are they? Do you know?
Ss: Money.
T: Clever. You are right. But who knows the money?
引导学生说出这些货币(一百元人民币,一百美元,五百欧元,五十英镑,两千日元),尤其是学生不熟悉的外币,鼓励学生互相讨论,看谁能全部说对。最后教师可适当拓展,向学生介绍这些货币的英文名称:RMB yuan, dollar, euro, pound, Japanese yuan。
2. Put the things in the right places
教师引领学生用英语说出图中物品的名称,并指导学生将物品归类,放到合适的位置:服装放入衣柜,文具放入书包。教育学生在日常生活中要养成整洁有序的好习惯。
T: Look at these pictures. We can see a shirt, a pair of trousers, ... some crayons,... Where should they be put? Let’s put them in the right places.
II. 课程活动和过程的设计建议(Presentation)
1. 新课展示
教师拿出所准备的贴着标签的服装,把它们放在衣架上,然后随机拿出一件衬衫,在学生身上进行比试,并发问:Do you like this shirt? 学生作肯定回答后,教师指着标签问:How much is it? 并引导学生回答:It’s...yuan. 其间,教师注意指导学生用英文表达价格的方式,教师也可以再拿出 一件其他颜色的衬衫问学生:Which one is beautiful? 并引导其作答:The ... one is beautiful. 承接上一环节,教师站在挂有标签的服装的旁边,拿出所准备的两个手偶,以手偶A扮售货员、手偶B扮顾客来进行对话,展示新的功能句,在展示过程中教师注意语速要缓慢、吐词要清晰,让学生能够清楚两个人物和他们话语的意思。
手偶A: Hello! I am a salesman. What can I do for you, Sir?
手偶B: Hello! I want to buy a shirt for my child.
手偶A:(拿起一件衬衣) How about this one?
手偶B: It’s nice. / It looks good. How much is it?
手偶 A: It’s eighty yuan.
手偶B: That’s OK. I’ll take it.
之后,教师可拿另外一样单数的衣物演示一遍购买过程,同时板书并领读功能句:
What can I do for you?
I want to buy... for... (“ for”在这里表示为谁买)
How about this one?
It looks good.
How much is it?
It’s eighty yuan.
That’s OK. (I’ll take it.)
2. 对话模拟
教师在模拟货架上摆出各种衣物,然后进行自我介绍:
T: Hello! I am a salesman/ saleswoman (教师可给自己身上贴一个salesman, saleswoman的词卡,让学生来识别身份)
Ss: Hello, Salesman / Saleswoman!
T: What can I do for you?
Ss: I want to buy a ... for...
T: How about this one?
Ss: It looks good. How much is it?
T: It’s ...yuan.
在此模拟活动中学生能初步回答问题即可,教师要注意根据学生的回答引导其说出完整的句子。
3. 听读练习
教师播放两遍Let’s talk部分的视频或录音磁带,一遍慢速、—遍快速,并根据播放的内容提出一些问题,检验学生的理解情况,以下问题可供参考:
Question 1: How many people are there in the dialogue?
Question 2: Who are they?
Question 3: Which T-shirt / one does Su Nan like?
Question 4: How much is the T-shirt?
教师再次播放视频或录音,要求学生模仿其语音语调跟读对话。
III. 操练活动的设计与实施建议(Practice Activities)
1. Shopping list
教师可让学生列出各自设计的购物清单,如示:
milk ¥ 5 bread ¥ 10 T-shirt ¥ 50
shoes ¥ 70 coat ¥ 40 bag ¥ 60
然后留出几分钟的时间,让同桌之间就彼此的物品价格互相问答。
2. 价格“战”
(1) 教师随机指一位学生,让他展示他所准备的标价物品(注意把价签部分面向自己),请其他同学猜价格:
S1: How much is it?
S2: Is it...yuan?
其间,展示的学生可以给出提示,如果价钱高了就说higher并做出偏高的手势,如果价钱低了就说lower做出价低的手势。
(2) 每件物品只能猜三次,被猜中的学生可把他的物品摆放在货架(可以用讲桌充当)上,没有被猜中的物品则先放在一边,再邀请下一位学生展示猜价。
(3) 这个活动,可以练习本课时的重点句型How much is it?还可以练习货币的表达,提高学生的学习兴趣。
(4) 这个活动还可以延伸为:如果你有50元钱,你可以买到哪些商品呢?你有几种方法?教师可以把“货架”上摆放的商品展示出来,供学生参考。
