第六课时 Section B 3a-Selfcheck

Teaching aims:

一、功能:Learn how to write a passage about room by using in, on, under.

二、词汇和常用表达Learn and use the words and phrases :on, in, under, on the desk, in the bookcase ,under the chair.

三、文化知识Students will learn to keep their rooms and classrooms tidy in the daily life.

Teaching steps:

 


Tell the Ss the learning aims: to talk about where the things are and learn how to write about rooms.( 设计意图:展示目标,有针对性的学习)

 


1. Sing a song

Where is the ball?

 It’s on the floor.

Where is the clock?    

 It’s on the wall.

Where are the pens?

They’re under the desk.

Where are the rulers?

 They’re in the pencil box. 

设计意图:唱where歌曲,热身导入,调动学生的积极性,活跃课堂气氛

2.The teacher shows the Ss some pictures. Let the Ss talk about where the things are.

 

Answers:

A: Where are the keys?

B: They’re on the desk.              

A: Where’s the book ?

Is it on your desk?

B: No, it’s under the chair.

A: Where are the pencils?

B: I don’t know.

 Are they in the pencil box ?

4Report:我最会整理Show the Ss a passage with some blanks. Use the word  “and ” if you can.写出你房间里物品的位置,尝试在句中使用and.

5. Check the answers. Then ask the Ss to read the whole passage for consolidation.

6. Then ask the Ss to think about how they can write about their rooms.After the Ss show their ideas, help the Ss make sure the following things:

“This is my room./I have a nice room.” is the Topic Sentence.

1. Ask the Ss towrite things in the classroom with in, on and under.

This is my classroom. The tape player is on the teacher’s desk. The chalk(粉笔)is   the chalk box, and the chalk box is   the teacher’s desk.

The teacher’s chair is     . The teacher’s desk. The map is       the wall.

2. Ask the Ss to fill in the blanks in the passage .

3. Have the Ss check their answers with their partners first. Then, choose several Ss to show their answers blank by blank. At last, give the Ss time to read the completed passage.

设计意图:知识的巩固,让学生学会运用。)

 


1. Ask the Ss to talk about their dream room in pairs.

(设计意图:鼓励学生根据表格的信息复述,可以从简单的一两句,然后慢慢地增加数量,同时也培养了学生口头组织语言的能力。)

2. Choose several Ss to tell their dream room orally to the rest of the Ss. At the same time, write some key words on the Bb.

3. Help the Ss make sure the composition must include the following things before they start to write their dream rooms

*Topic sentence:This is my room./I have a nice room.

Things : Furniture(家具): desk, sofa, bookcase ,bed, chair…

 Stationery(文具):pencils, books, , ruler, pencil case, notebook…

 Other(其它): hat, CD, keys, video tape, telephone…

Conjunctions “and ”

4. Give the Ss several minutes to write their composition. Choose one student to write his/her dream room on the Bb.

5. After all the Ss finish writing, first check the composition on the Bb together with all the Ss according to the following evaluation scale.

Is there a topic sentence?

Did he / she use the prepositions  ?

Are there any grammatical mistakes?

Choose several Ss to evaluate the composition item by item in the evaluation scale.

6. Then, ask the Ss to check their partner’s composition according to the above evaluation scale.

7. Choose several Ss to read their composition. The other Ss listen carefully and prepare for answering the teacher’s questions later on.

8. Ask the Ss about what they think of their classmates’ dream room and why. In this way, the Ss learn to make comments.

本节课的亮点:

本节课以房间物品为主线,采取师生对话的形式作为示范,来复习已学过的单词与句子,然后,在进行小组交流,生生对话的形式进行。让每个学生都能参与其中,都有发表的机会,同时也是帮助学生恢复对旧知识的记忆,也为后面的写作做好积累,铺垫的工作。

Presentation部分我的设计主要是引导学生学会如何根据物品摆设写句子。先让学生独立完成练习,找出自己仍然不明白的单词或句子。然后让学生与同桌进行讨论交流。

经过前面的层层铺垫,从一开始的说,描述物品,并描述物品的摆设,然后进行写句子,有句子再融合成小短文。找到些类似短文的关键点和句型结构。其目的在于分散教学难点,循序渐进,便于理解。在教学过程中我充分发挥多媒体和网络技术的优势,利用多媒体网络课件创设情景,营造氛围,给学生提供合作探究、自主实践、操作练习的机会,激发学生的兴趣。

不足之处:

在生生作文互评的环节占用的时间过长,需调整。
